Always a pleasure - The Broad Museum Los Angeles
When I visited Los Angeles recently I couldn't forget about the trip to The Broad. Honestly it was one of my favourite experiences in LA. The museum is really huge but well organised. If you don't want to waste your time in a line to go inside, you need to buy ticket online but it's worth to remember that general admission is free (excluding special exhibitions or events). The Broad has very impressive collections of the finest artists like Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, Roy Lichtenstein, Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Kara Walker, Glenn Ligon, Joseph Beuys and more. All the incredible works are located on three floors. Especially I loved Jeff Koons: A Retrospective exhibition with fabulous „Baloon Dog” and „Rabbit”. Also I was impressed by the pop art works of Andy Warhol. But that's not all. If you're prepared for something special go straight to Yayoi Kusama's „Infinity Mirrored Room”. I can guarentee that you will be more than happy standing there. The Broad is a relatively new museum but also is one of those that give you a luxury feeling of being in the center of world art.
