Fendi space

Fendi coat & hat

From vintage glamour to modern practicality. It’s kind of a continuation of an earlier Fendi design approach that you can find here http://www.thesaltcaramel.com/lifestyle/2020/9/21/3j9ze5tiku0c22sgo20wwikb7u4po3 but this time let’s take a journey on a more passionate, sensual side.

Although the Fendi fashion house was founded over ninety years ago, it has a unique, one-of-a-kind factor that makes its products attract more and more fashion fans. And I don’t want to talk only about fine leather or other materials, but about space. Fendi space. Following the outstanding French architect Le Corbusier, who in his numerous works expressed the unchanging view that man needs space, light and order just like his basic needs, we should take care of what surrounds us both in terms of fashion and design. The coat and hat that I’m wearing are kept in strictly minimalist style, although they’re still very Italian & glamour. This is because the principle of choosing space over excess and classics over fashion is perfectly respected. Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Coco Chanel and Bauhaus artists knew very well how to properly use minimalism to bring out a strong inner light and not overlook functionality. This Fendi look I created above is definitely a kind of reflection of their ideas.

When it comes to sensuality Fendi doesn’t exist without it. However, it’s not intrusive but very subtle. We can sense it by wrapping ourselves in delicate, soft fabrics, running our fingertip over the embossed leather with a transparent Fendi logo, keeping both hands in loose sleeves, closing our eyes and just feeling the 'Sweater Weather' harder and harder.
