Fendi

‘Designs that are fresh, interesting and different are not achieved if to be fresh, interesting and different is the prime objective. Good design derives from the wish to do just that.’

A similar principle guides this Fendi design. Simple and modest, but at the same time lavish and extravagant. Maybe it's a fabric illusion, or maybe it's a wish. Anyway, the full effect is achieved. Timeless future. Design to use, renew many times, that builds what’s most important in wearing - experience. A personal experience for which the garment and fabrics are the present and future memory. The red and beige sleeveless combination, fastened with a side zip and a round neck changes its simple structure from the first look at the textiles. This exemplification reminds me of Alexander Girard’s sensuous approach to design as well as the whole sculpture character. He enriched twentieth-century design with what I appreciate the most - an emotional component that had been previously lacking in the classic rigour of modernism.

A luxurious and theatrical feel of silk is just an addition that acts as background for the fabric structure and amazing proportions. Now let’s have some spicy moments.
